Microsoft welcomes Open source??

I'm not sure I can believe this but it seems that the head of Microsoft's open source software lab has extended an open invitation to the developers from Mozilla. He says it is enable the Firefox browser and Thunderbird email software to be able to run on windows Vista in the coming release.

I am always skeptical when a major player, MS, opens it doors to a small open source player to enable the small player to utulise the new OS. It has always been MS practice to crush the opposition and then ask if things are ok.
