Could it be true??

Reality Check: Wikis? Sorry. Can people who are supposed "decision makers" be so up with it and pusshing for advancement that they have lost sight of the technology needed to achieve these goals?

It is a more than common occurence these days. Technology moves so fast these days that the newest thing is outdated and of no use in the blink of an eye. When will this pace possibly stop??

I think back to the pace at which pc hardware streaked ahead of itself and how that seems to have stopped and the next frontier seems to be storage. Where that will end is anyones guess. Software is the interesting thread in that it seems to out do itself only to reinvent itself and start again. Take for example the "social network" phenomenom, of which this blog is a part of. With every minute a new blog is created and someone else is sharing a viewpoint or opinion. There will come a time when controls shall be in place but for the moment the blog reins supreme.
